CBCS Administrator

Dr. Carl Herbster

herbster1
Dr. Carl Herbster has a varied background that helps him better understand the people and issues of our day. After college, where he studied Math education, Pastor Herbster entered the business world and was employed as a sales representative and later as a manager for a worldwide company. It was during his professional years that Pastor Herbster was convicted of his need to invest his life in something eternal (I John 2:15-17). He left the business world, went to seminary, and later entered a graduate program where he completed his doctor of education degree (Ed.D.). He has served as a Christian school specialist and was president of the American Association of Christian Schools for 10 years. He was the Senior pastor of Tri-City Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri for 28 years. Tri-City also had a Christian school. Therefore, he knows the importance of families and education in our culture and has always done what he could to develop and protect both.
